DELIVERY FROM CHINA
Delivery of goods from China to Ukraine: what you need to know?
Main types of transportation
There are three main ways to deliver goods from China to Ukraine:
1. Sea container transportation (FCL, LCL) is the most affordable and popular option, which is used to transport over 90% of cargo. Delivery is carried out through the ports of Romania (Constanta) and Poland (Gdansk), from where the cargo is transported to Ukraine by road. Average delivery time: 55-65 days plus an additional 7 days for transportation to Ukraine.
2. Air freight is the fastest, but most expensive method of delivery. On average, cargo is delivered in 10-21 days through major European air hubs (e.g. Istanbul, Warsaw, Frankfurt) with further transportation to Ukraine.
3. Railway transportation – is becoming increasingly popular due to stable tariffs and the ability to deliver large consignments of cargo. The route passes through China, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine. Average delivery time: 55-60 days.

Due to the war, sea transportation from China to Ukraine is carried out through alternative European ports, and rail connections are adapting to new conditions. Air freight remains the best option for urgent cargo.
